Well I am glad to be here as 100+ days is a really big deal in the quit world. Milestone puts it mildly if you ask me... If you had asked me 110 days ago I would have told you anyone was out of their mind to go 100+ days without smoking and look at me (us) now!

105 days! I still can't believe it!

103 days for me!  And I would think that I would be really safe but today, I had a crazy craving to smoke.  Not a physcial craving but a mental one.  I woke up very overwhelmed and stressed out with life and really wanted to smoke over it.  The idea in my head was to smoke so I can think and plan how to attack these 500 things that all need to be done yesterday.  Smoke to think, how crazy is that?  I did not smoke, obviously, but I did touch base with a quit buddy for reinforcement and took the Daily Pledge. I am cool now but it was a bit rough for a few hours. 

I'm not gonna mess this quit up.  I have come too far.  I am still working on developing new copign techniques to deal with stressful times.  Even at over 100 days.

405 days! I have amazed myself and am more proud of this one accomplishment than any other accomplishments in my life.

363 Days Smoke FREE! This was by far the BEST decision I ever made for myself in terms not just of Health but HAPPINESS! Living Addiction FREE is so worth it!!! Never Ever Forget!

Just happen to see this while looking back after seeing others mention today is their day joining the #triple_digit_club  It makes the little victories seem so cool! Seems like a distant memory now huh?

 have now stopped smoking for 3 months, 1 week, 3 days, 5 minutes, 4 seconds. That translates into 1,515 cigarettes NOT smoked, for a savings of $530.27! At 5 minutes per cigarette I have increased my life expectancy by 5 days, 6 hours, 15 minutes, 15 seconds

All that to say this is my 100 Days. Whoopie. Happy Birthday to Me and Merry Christmas to all of you   ⭐

It's been a while since I've welcomed people to the Triple Digit Quitters Club‌ in this post.  Looks like nearly 19 days since my last post so some of you are near 117 days quit all the way to some who just joined today.  I can imagine that sometimes when you're virtual you may not feel the impact that there are others out there in the world at a similar place in their quit journey that with "me" While all the people mentioned in this post today don't have the same quit day as you, theirs is similar and you're not alone. The EX Community is here to support you for the long-term. We want to inspire people to make the decision to quit and to make it to 100 days and beyond and hopefully you'll choose to do it here, with us. Congrats for making it through your first 100+ days! We're super proud!

Thanks. It's a great feeling to pass 100 days! I am actually coming up soon on 1/3 of a year. I can smell spring for the first time in years. I used the gum and, probably as a result, I'm still getting cravings more than I like. I just make my way through them and soon they are gone. I guess there are at least a few of us like me that really didn't want to quit. I would smoke again in a minute if I knew they weren't so horrible for my health. I am lucky. So far none of the terrible things that can happen as a result of smoking have impacted my life. Maybe they will, maybe they won't,  but I'm finally giving myself a break. Good luck to all of us. 100 days is pretty cool.

I don't  think ANY addict WANTS to quit.  I sure didn't want to quit smoking.  I just knew I should.  And, like you, I - for years after I quit - said, "If I could smoke without penalty, I would."  I still love the smell of them.  But I really don't want to go back to slavery.  Even if they didn't hurt my body, the expensive and slavery are part of the penalty.  No THANK you!  

So far none of the terrible things that can happen as a result of smoking have impacted my life.

That's why you've quit.  Keep that "so far" in the back of your mind when a trigger happens and your nicotine receptors are screaming.  For that next puff could always be the one that sets off a bad chain reaction and the "so far" won't be available in your vocabulary.
