Maybe Im just scared, but Im taking my sweet time quitting smoking. Sometimes I think I should just get it over with. At the same time though I dont want it to be like all the other times, I want it to actually work! So Im knee deep in research right now. Im reading Allen Carr's Easyway, going to speak with Doctor after Doctor and doing online research. Im still working on the separation exercises. Im not sure how I feel about them, it makes sense to me that if I can quit during my worst triggers the rest is easy! Since you continue to smoke though its so easy to slip back into smoking when faced with strong triggers. So all the work I had done... Im back to the beginning, a little wiser though. I need to tackle the tough ones differently. Im going to have to write down my exercise for the day and read it when my triggers come up instead of just making up my mind and hoping to be able to keep it in mind. Im thinking of keeping the written goal for the day in my pack.

I have only one more stumbling block and its a little personal so I think I will just keep it that way. I hope you all understand. But I have decided I will be smoke free in September! Once the personal issue is figured out I will have a definate quit date. I am very excited!
