The middle date choice has won! That would be May 16 - 20 (That is Thursday through Monday - you stay for as many days as you want.)

I am excited - however I know this will exclude

some folks. I hope that those people will find a way to make that date work - even if they can only come for a few days! 

More info to come about how to make the reservation - I am waiting to hear back from the woman at Best Western.

Yes minihorses it's an actual get together that ex has been doing for several years now, we all get to vote on where and when to get together which is awesome .

It is all very informal - put together by members here. We have a blast! This may be a real possibility for me!  I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping I can fly in on Friday....Also, not to cause too much trouble, but there is a Hyatt Place/House about 400 ft. from the Best Western.  I have points so may stay at the Hyatt to save $$$.  I can get a room with 2 queen beds if anyone is interested in free accomodations with an almost perfect stranger - females only.  My husband wouldn't be happy if I roomed with a male for the couple of nights I hope to come on Friday and leave Sunday.

PS - it is fine to stay anywhere you would like. Last time some folks stayed at other hotels and some even live in the area.

Va Beach is where I lived for the first 10 years I was married!  I went back in August for a concert but it was so different I couldn't even find where I used to live.  Anyway, it's only a 4 or 5 hour trip so I just might be able to attend at least one day.  Maybe I can sponge off my old neighbors and longtime friends for a night.  I'll keep the dates on my calendar!!
