Whew what a morning already!!! Woke up exhausted before I even got up. Oh I so wanted to reset my alarm!  So I hit the snooze button twice.  Anxious because today is court date for speeding ticket I got last month. Finally got up got going. Got in car to start it, yes only to find that it wouldn't start. Of course hubby is not home to jump start me. So I knocked on neighbors doors at 8:30 this morning, so sure they loved me as they both looked like they just go up. Fortunately my wonderful neighbor came and jumped started my car.  Whew it took the jump so yay I am going to make it on time.  Finally arrived to court. Mind you this is my FIRST TIME EVER in traffic court and not knowing what to expect scares me (will admit my Nico addict started screaming).   Ding dang lots of people here, does anyone follow the law anymore hahaha!  So I sit waiting forever. Hurry to get there just to wait and wait and wait. Through all this time NOPE! And don't do that anymore!! Helped survive the Nico demon addict whispering temptations at me.  Finally they call my name (dang I wanted to pee myself I was so nervous) haha refrained. I approach the bench and they read my charge (I guess that’s what you call it) you were stopped for driving without a license and driving 10mph over speed limit. Nervous me stutters yes I guess so, not convinced that I was speeding but guilty with expired license.  So I had to show proof of my driver’s license, hmm like they couldn't look it up themselves really!! oh well I showed them.  Judge says all charges dismissed, ticket dismissed.  Shoot I wanted to do the happy dance and kiss the judge but refrained and said thank you and whew thank God that was over. So at the end of all this all my savings go on me and not my ticket. Woohoo!!! Yay me!!!  I didn't smoke over it and I didn't pee myself so a good day. Finally a good ending in something.

Hi! My name is Sharon and I am married, a mom to 5 kids and also have 2 fur babies that are both shelties and considered my kids. I have smoked for about 30 years. I came here to learn how to quit and stay quit. I need to quit to impove my health and was tired of nicotine controlling me and Doctors and family nagging me. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Now that I have joined in the EX family I now have been free of nicotine since May 13th 2016.
