Share your quitting journey
It has been a while since I fully engaged in my ex community. Looking back on this past year, there were so many times when I would visit family or my kids would go stay with my parents and clothes come home smelling like smoke and I would think.....is that what everyone used to smell on me? Last year has been quite stressful, from my oldest moving out to changing jobs. On January 7 2023, I became a grandmother. I sat in the room with my daughter for over 7 hours thru her labor and didn't have to miss anything to go smoke! I realize that smoking no longer controls anything. I can spend a day out with my husband and kids and not want to find a place to go smoke. Went to the beach over the summer , snorkeling for the first time, put together a skyfort playset for my kids, and my youngest boy started school. Now if all of these things can happen without smoking, I know anyone can quit. I have saved well over 2000 on cigs.
