Share your quitting journey
In four months, I will celebrate FIVE years smoke-free, after slowly killing myself for over FIFTY years of smoking!
I must admit it took several attempts to quit and stay quit. So don’t give up! If you keep trying, you will win! There came an attempt almost five years ago, when I literally “hit bottom”. And then I just put one foot in front of the other, one day at a time...
I was always most worried about Lung Cancer, but there are other things that can hurt you, that you may never realize before it is too late! Please, don’t waste time smoking and ruining your lungs and general health! When I realized that my lungs were getting worse with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), I just knew it was time to quit!
I use two inhalers each day to keep my lungs working as they should. No more wheezing. Once you get COPD, there is no cure. Inhalers are the only thing you can do! And, as the years pass, I can walk better without being “breathless” as much as I used to be. I am now 76 years old, so I am the proof that it is NEVER TOO LATE to quit!
I don’t think there is anyone else who was more addicted to Nicotine, than me. And if I can do it, there are no excuses!
This website is the miracle that helps all of us!
Hope you have a great smoke free day, today! Rosemary
