well today went pretty well actually felt more relaxed had withdrawels but kept eating snacks and drinking water n i took a cycling class after i got out class. the only thing is im proud of myself of having 2 days off but i feel like by friday i will go back again. i cant get away from negative thoughts like yeah u probably cant do it or yeah im 2 days off but ill be back by the weekend probably. i know its soo bad so every night i look at this and websites like whyquit. if anyone knows any websites that show health effects and images that would be really helpful

Check out quitsmokingonline.com, they have a free course and you'll learn a lot about how you are actually brainwashed about the positive aspects of smoking.  In reality, there are no positive aspects of smoking.  Put the time and effort in on this site and you will have a different mindset about going back to smoking again by Firday.  Education will set you free!

Google images and even you tube. That really helped me quit, reading all about all the effects and all the terrible diseases. Google smoking and effects of smoking, health issues with smoking etc... there's quite a bit out there... well documented stuff

2 days is great. just enjoy some more lonzenges and water on friday and have a good laugh.

Congratulations on Day 2 kerrid!!!

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Seems to me, a big part of this is convincing myself I can do it. Feels like I have to dig down deep every time I get the craving or feel like I can't handle it. Dig down to that place I don't often like to go. That place where I get extremely stubborn, uncompromising, hard headed and down right too angry too give in.

That place that makes me we want to yell to the top of my lungs:

IT WILL NOT FREAKIN' BEAT ME!!!

NOT TODAY!!!

PERIOD.
