Today is my 1 month anniversary!

No, not the kind of anniversary usually posted here. It has been 1 month since I was laid off from work after 35 years with the same company. After receiving the news I was literally shaking. Of course you know the first thing I did when I left the office! That's right! I could not drive fast enough to my destination! Once I arrived I marched right up to the counter and told the lady "I would like to apply for unemployment benefits". And so the Job search begins! The point of this true story is not once did it occur to me to go buy some smokes! After almost 4 years smoke free, smoking just is not part of me any more!

I just wanted to let all the new quitters and not as new quitters who are struggling to know if you stick with it you too will no longer think you need a smoke during crisis mode! I love you guys! You are the greatest!

I have been smoke free since 12-1-14. Used to hang out at a different quit smoking forum but it seems to have crashed and burned. I'm kinda looking for a new home. I may have found it. :)
