You have no idea how your words of kindness and encouragement have helped fan the tiny spark in me to stop smoking FOREVER!  Tks Sickofit-Nancy for the link to Allen Carr's book...I have already begun reading it.  My quit date is January 17th and just like when I went back to school and earned my degree...I will prepare with the intent to succeed!  I didn't mention in my first blog the I have HID my addiction from the man who I adore.  He HATES smoking and deplores smokers.  We don't live together so I have been dishonest with him as he would surely end our relationship over it...he is that adament about not smoking.  When I met him I WAS a nonsmoker but I chose to succumb to it for ????  I know I must stop smoking for ME but it sure will feel good when I can lose the fear and reclaim my life and love with the man I want to marry.  Thank you all so much....now I will get back to reading Carr's book.  ~Blue
