Yuppers folks....I'm still hangin' in there after 36 days of being a PROUD exsmoker. I have lots going on in my life...some I can share some noone but me will give two hoots about. Last few days have been filled with my hubby's Grandma passing away. Not unexpected..she'd been suffering from Alzheimers and didn't live in the here and now anymore. That's the sad part. Her passing was a blessing. While waiting for the funeral service to start one of my hubby's cousins told me how she'd like to go have a smoke. Her and I  used to ALWAYS go smoke together. I told her I've been quit now for over a month. She seemed almost sad about it because that now makes her about the only one left as an active smoker. She's gonna get mighty lonely puffing by herself outside. Almost feel bad for her but I can't. It would be that weak moment the demon's been waiting for. Here's some interesting news. Remember a few weeks ago I told about the incredibly rude smoker friends? Just got a call today that BOTH are quitting!! WOW!! Now I'm running thru my head 2 possibilities.(heh heh heh) 1= do the same thing to them they did to me...wait a couple weeks into their quits then hire a "hitman" to go hit off his/her butt in front of them, blow it in their faces, and offer them each a smoke. Oh man...I can't do that. The guilt would kill me. The revenge factor would be awesome but the guilt would be far greater. Which leaves #2= Tell them to come here to help them in their quit. Not sure about this because I can't say I have ever seen either one of them on a computer. Seems strange doesn't it? But the more I think about it the more I'm sure they don't "do" computers. She has kids and they have a laptop, so it's not like there is no computer available. Maybe they just don't appreciate technology. My quit is getting easier every day. NO....I'm not being fooled into thinking I can let my guard down. I've seen too many exers do that and then Ol' Nick O'Demon strikes. NOPE...can't be having that happen. NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! Greatest anagram(?) ever thought up. Today I choose NOT to smoke. Keep up the great quits everyone. I'll stay in touch a little more often.
