when I moved out of my mom's house I took my cat with me, she's white, and after I got out of that smoke filled house, and into my smoke free house I realized that my cat not only stunk like smoke, but her hair was also yellowed!!!! My mom used to chain smoke in the house, plus I smoked in the house to.....my poor babies
When we used to smoke inside the house, I had a cat that would crinkle her nose when she got near the ashtray. I can't even explain but I swear she made a disgusted face when that trail of smoke got to her nose. She was the reason we quit smoking inside.
We used to have a cat named King and he used to dig in the ashtrays and carry butts in his mouth all the time. We had to always try to make sure we didn't have any butts in the ashtrays or he would for sure make a mess and get butts out. He was so bad with it I said one day I wonder if he's addicted to these butts.
I carried a lot of guilt for smoking around my cat all his life. Although he lived to be nearly 18, he struggled with heart and lung problems for years before I lost him. I am glad that my new doggie won't have to deal with that - and I'll be guilt free!!!!! This not smoking shit ROCKS!!!! http://www.glitter-works.org/
