Life changes....

Yesterday Alison and I met up with my sister Debbie who has spent the week breaking up our parents apartment. She got a lot done. We went to Tavern on the Square in Tyngsboro, MA for dinner last night. She didn't want to go too far away as she still had work to do on the apartment. One of her sister in laws along with Debbie's husband coming up today with a van to take the rest of the stuff home that they are taking with them back to NY. The rest the management company of the complex will deal with along with renovating the apartment for the next people to rent. It's bittersweet after close to 30 years this is coming to an end. To see the apartment dismantled and gone and realizing my parents are not coming back is sad. Saying good-bye to era.

It feels like so much is crushing down on me lately but I am keeping my head held high as I can. Things will work out I just have to have faith. I still wake up in the morning which is a good sign even when things seem like they are shattering around me. Somethings are getting done and resolved - it takes time. I know time is a precious commodity we all take for granted sometimes. I will just have to be open to new possibilities. At least work keeps me distracted from everything going on.
