I have been at the hospital with my husband since 4:45 am. It's almost noon and until a moment ago when another patients family member said they were going outside...cigarettes and smoking never came to mind.

My husband's cardiac ablation went well, doc said he had a lot of work to do in and around his heart, but he is optimistic. Doc gave me the basic plan of action for the next 3 months of at home healing. Now just waiting for hubby to get out of recovery and sent to a room. I will make sure everything is situated, then I am going to pick up food and go back to the hotel and catch up on sleep, up at 3am after goint to sleep around 11 pm is exhausting. I should be able to take him home tomorrow morning.
