Here we go again

Maybe I wasn't ready to quit or set my quit date too soon but I'm giving it a go again after screwing up once again. I NEED to quit. I'm in severe pain 7 weeks after my labral tear hip surgery. I need to do all I can to heal and smoking is definitely NOT on the list of things to do!  The pain is so bad that I can do it this time. It will help that it's going to only be in the forties tomorrow and then cool and windy and rainy Wednesday and Thursday. I go outside to smoke so that weather doesn't exactly do much for the pain factor either. This is the last time I will be saying "oops"!!!!  I can do it and I need to do it. For my general health and my poor aching hip!!!  Had to ignore the fact that it was my sons 28th bday yesterday. That was hard but we need to keep our family sane and safe right now. He needs to focus on getting himself better and seeing a doc and getting on some medication. Doing drugs and texting abusive and threatening messages are not working for him. We need a break from him. Tough love. I texted him happy bday but then I canceled it. Couldn't send it. Still hurting from all that went on a few weeks ago. Maybe he'll try to do something to get healthy someday. One can only hope. We've tried all we can. It's up to him now.
