Eric Bartlet took this photo of a Goldfinch in a Spring snow.

H. O. W.   How did I stop smoking?  I used the word how, H=honesty  O=openness and W=Willingness.

I was ready to quit when I got honest with myself and my health.  I was Open to a change and I was Willing to do something different.  It works!

"If you want to become physically stronger, you'll need healthy habits - like going to the gym. You'll also have to give up unhealthy habits - like eating junk food. Building mental strength requires healthy habits - like practicing gratitude - while also giving up unhealthy behavior, like giving up after the first failure."

Beautiful picture as always

A new way to spell change HOW         Without HOW you will never make the changes you need

Enjoy your Monday Larry

About the Author
I quit on October 25, 2013, it was the best decision I ever made (or, one of them). I smoked for over 50 years and quit Cold Turkey. My most useful tool is gratitude, you can borrow some from me.
