Today marks 28 days since I quit.  I am not big on wirting posts but I am big on reading everyone else's and learning how to get through this journey succesfully.

I feel great but I am still very cautious and very aware of my triggers. I have found that all of things that annoyed me before as a smoker, well...they annoy me now.  It is how I handle it, that is the difference.  I laugh a lot...it helps (thanks Dale).  I also make a decision when those triggers come up not to give in, not to smoke.  It really is that right? The decision not to do it.   It seems so simple but really in the beginning it wasn’t.  But you all told me, it really is a simple practice and practicing makes it better and easier.  So if you are new and are not big on blogging, like me, at least get on here and read, read, read and spend time absorbing the information all of these wonderful people have to offer.

A question for the ladies...or the guys.  Has anyone noticed an improvement in the appearance of their skin?  I have had several people make mention of how I look refreshed and younger and that my skin is "glowing".  Even my husband pointed it out.  I was not paying attention but I really did look and yes, I find that I just look healthier.   A great side effect and another reason to stay quit.  Anyone else experiencing this?
