Day One

Half way through day one and I'm doing pretty good. It's obvious that the Chantix is helping with cravings. Lots of water and hard candy, as well as staying busy all seem to help. Perhaps the going nuts part will come later. Still very optimistic and even a little pleased with myself.

Big congrats on a successful day one.  This is the first step to becoming non-smoker.  You can do this.

Or maybe you won't go nuts. Everyone's quits are different and 90% of it is attitude.

Or maybe you will get a little nutty singing to yourself "I don't do that anymore" or doing a jig in the living room to stave off a crave etc etc and that is just ok to do to get a little nutty

BIG DEAL DAY ONE....congratulations

Day 1 is almost over.  You are DOIN' this thang!  If you get a little nutty, you can always sing this QuitTude Song with us other nuts and maybe we'll crack you out of it.  Rooting for ya, Kurt!

Going nuts from quitting smoking comes from the crazy cell.

You may not even have the crazy cell.

If you do, kill it now. It only has disdain for you.

I hear yellow socks are a c cell inhibitor, 24/7,  24/7

And how's day 2 going?

Day 2 is moving right along. That first cup of coffee was rough but I made it past that. That was the hardest part of the day so far. Staying busy, lots of water and snacking on bowls of granola. I’m good. Thanks for asking

Try changing up your routine.  I drank my coffee outside where I smoked.  Now I drink it while I'm on the Ex in the morning.  Creating new associations helps to break the connections with smoking.  Big congrats on two days smoke free.
