was hard as hell.. everything and everyone frustrated me.. I felt like slapping damn near ebody i came in contact with that was over the age of 18.. *sigh* BUT i am happy to report that i did get thru without sparking up.. Just kept thinking about some of the stories here... and N.O.P.E. I work with kids, and one of the kids noticed yday that i didnt take any breaks to go outside..asked me was i sick. I didnt want to tell them that i had quit because if i go back i'd disappoint them again..BUT im not going to fail again.. like i said in my 1st post I QUIT!!!!  Anywo my kids were/are so supportive, one of my kids even called me at home last night to tell me DONT HAVE A CIGARETTE.. The kids gave me an assignment.. lol due today.. so i guess i better work on that list.

My laptop is being serviced (@ work now )so i havent been on since tues nite, but i should be able to pick it up later today.. Just have this inkling that ima need u guys the nxt cpl days..

Hope that everyone has a great day.. and continues to NOT puff..

Be proud of yourself I know day two was the hardest for me also now I am on day 46 and counting. I kept my quit a secret for the first week but after I told everyone about it it made it alot easier to stay quit because i had lots of support. Tell your kids they will be there to support you. We are all here for you whenever you need us. Stay strong and N.O.P.E.

It's tough, but we can do it.  I'm at day 10, but really day 3, since I stopped the patch Sunday.  By the way, tell the kids.  You are not going back.  There is no failure this time.  You are a quitter!

I agree it's important to tell people who will support you.  I'm on Day 5 and feel like I've passed a major hurdle already.  Cold turkey for me, because I want to get past this a quickly as possible.  So far so good.  Still have urges, but they are easier and easier to get past.  I hope the day will come soon when I won't even be thinking about this anymore...no more counting..just free and moving on!

Your kids are encouraging you to maintain your quit because they know the consequences if you don't. So do you. Keep up the good work. It gets easier - trust us. We are proof it can be done.

Best wishes to you!
