Im suprised to find my chantex seams to already be working.  sat down for a cigaret and took 2 drags and just did not want it any more. the second time i sat down to smoke i found that it seamed to be to strong to the point were i did not want it. i have moved to ultra lights. i have cut down from 6-7 a day to only 3-4. im Happy i seam to already be making progress. i feel like this will actually work. does any one know if you have to smoke during yoru first week on chantex? my doctor told me to continue to smoke the first week and then quit on the 8th day. and the web sight dosent have any info on this question.

Welcome to our community. If you are below 5 cigarettes a day, you are in withdrawal now. Up to you, but I would quit right now.

I don't know how chantex works but sounds like it's working oldbones might have a point with putting yourself in early withdrawl but like I said not sure how that stuff works congrats on making the decision to quit

You get to decide! If you feel like you are prepared then go for it! Have you done the reading that is recommended and followed the Blogs for awhile? READING is essential because Chantix is a good tool but it won't do the real work for you! Only you can put and keep yourself n the path to Recovery! Best wishes! We're here to show you how!

I'm four years quit now after using Chantix!  Best drug I've ever used, it's almost unbelieveble that they can "predict" that on day 8 you won't want to smoke any longer.  If only they could find a pill for food eating.  You can and should smoke through Day 7, just smoke less if you feel like it.  Work the program exactly as described, you should also sign-up for the daily voice calls from Chantix. https://www.get-quit.com - the only side effect that I suffered, but really didn't mind was the vivd and wild dreams.  It was well worth it after 12 weeks and again I can't say enough positive about how well it worked.  Best of luck!
