DOF 5 AGAIN!

Think I miscalculated. Today is DOF 5, not yesterday. OOPS!  No matter the day I still am not smoking and not wanting one. That’s the most important milestone for me to reach; subsiding cravings. Once these begin to decrease in frequency I know my attention can be shared with other important things in my life.

My nerves feel a little “exposed” so am moving slowly and deliberately until things normalize.

Orange Theory tomorrow then yoga on Saturday.

About the Author
I am a 55 year old health care professional and have considered myself a non smoker my entire adult life. I was a runner (and smoked), yogi, walker, exerciser, clean food advocate, etc. But smoked secretly anyway. It is the nicotine I’m addicted to, not the habit. Quitting nicotine makes me feel so uncomfortable and disoriented. Have used patches and lozenges. Patches kept me awake at night so became addicted to lozenges years ago when quitting. Am now back in the same predicament. Quit again today and am back on lozenges.
