This really helped with my quit. At

the very least It really

makes you think and ask the question;

"why do I smoke at all?"

His book made all the difference to me.  I don't think I would call the journey easy, or "just like that," but accepting that a cigarette did nothing FOR me was key to my success, I think.

I hope all the newbies will watch (or read!)

I really like the video and I did read his book which helped me very much but I did use NRT's to quit this time , specifically the patch, and I did well with it . I had tried cold turkey many years ago and I did it for 3 months ....2 months I was really white knuckling it . When I relapsed  at 3 months I was worn out and felt I could not go through the beginning again .

I think some of us really need to " come down " gradually

I think some people make the adjustment faster than others, but as long as you get there.....to the point where you realize there is no reason to smoke, and you are sacrificing nothing by stopping. I used the patch to quit, and while Allen Carr doesn't recommend this, as long as the end goal is the same you will be successful.

This is great and there are more videos. Haven't quit yet but will watch these videos daily.

I quit smoking on March 26th, 2009. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years. I quit because I began having health issues in my early 40's. I had a TIA and a stroke a few years ago. I work as a home delivery salesperson.
