6 Months

Hi All......I have not had a cigarette in 6 months.....180 days!  I just opened an email from "becomeanex" congratulating me and telling me to "brag out it a little".....I would be more than happy to brag!  First....I really can't believe I haven't had a cigarette in 6 months....half a year....wow, what an accomplishment.  My husband still smokes and that makes it even harder for me.  We went away for a few days - out to Cutchogue on the North Fork of Long Island - to a work related convention for my husband and I must say, I never saw so many people smoking......I will admit I was tempted - yes, even after 6 months, but I know there is no way I can ever put a cigarette in my mouth again.  It was funny because each and every smoker that I spoke with I told them that I hadn't had a cigarette in 6 months....most were shocked, everyone congratulated me and said they "wish" they could quit too.....I told them I if I was able to quit, they are too.  Support helps and I want to thank all of you for your support.  I especially want to thank the Freedom Train.....first time I saw the "train" I fell in love with it.  I walk around saying "yahoo, I'm on the freedom train".  Thank you all and have a wonderful smoke free day!  Love, Carol
