The above members are just a small sample of people who have quit with the help of the site you're on and the amazing support. Let that be motivation that you can do it too.

loser99   Today is your quit day! If anyone else has quit today, congrats for starting your journey with us as well.  Be sure to journal your experiences today with a personal blog(← Click to get started) so you can look back on it and reflect where you started. Tag the post "TheDayIQuit". This way others can see what they can possibly expect as they start their quit journey. Before you know it, you'll be celebrating with people like those mentioned above.

WOW, so many people celebrating SO MANY milestones, I really hope you are all still with us and that you will let us know how you are doing.  There are names I recognize and names I DON'T...please be well.

Thanks, Mark!  Yes, the 24th was my 50th day quitaversary.  And, the 25th was my 50th birthday!  How about that.  I should have played the lottery, perhaps I could have won $50!

So, today is day 54 quit!  Yay.  Thank you for mentioning me in your Post.  It made me feel "seen".

Doing great overall.  I feel protective of my quit and while I feel very strong about it I also feel very vulnerable with it.  I've quit before for a few months and even once for a year and a half.  I just want to be done for good.  I mostly don't even think of smoking except for once or twice a day where I get a little "twinge" which is closely related to a time I would have previously been taking a smoke break.  These twinges have been brief and easy to push through.  Just wish they'd go away too!  They are a strong reminder that the monster is waiting for a way back in.  NOPE!

Congrats to everyone else on the milestones being reached!

Happy Birthday, Tawny‌ and happy 50th quit day.  Now 52 quit day I guess.  Stay very protective of that beautiful quit of yours.  Until we get past the vulnerable stage, we must keep it very close.  Those twinges will go away.  But it takes time.  So you just keep hanging in there!
