Not My Day

It's been a rotten two days  My cell phone completely died. It won't charge no matter what cable we use and it won't boot up at all.  I've now lost all my contacts and their phone numbers. I never used a sim card because I only used phone, text. a couple apps. I wasn't even close to using internal memory. I'm screwed again.

I've had to take sodium chloride pills because my bloodwork keeps coming back with low levels. It makes my mouth taste like licking a salt block, metallic and makes me want to throw up.  I had to stop for a few days but with my blood test recheck this week I had to go back on them yesterday. Anything with even two granules of salt makes it taste like sea water.

My oldest son that has Asperger's (high functioning autism) had gotten the wrong information about the COVID vaccination and said he will not get the vaccine. I went on the CDC website yesterday and got the correct information and printed the part that addressed his reasons for not getting vaccinated. Before he read them he got angry and threw the papers in my face. I explained that I just intended a discussion after he reads it. He blew up at me and started screaming. Let's just say the situation went downhill from there.

Then the hair dye I used because my regular one wasn't in stock said it was 100% gray coverage. My are is mostly brown with some gray and the rest is flame red (sort of copper color). I spent over 2 hours doing the color, shower, and drying my hair only to have it not cover the roots, turn 3 inches to orange and the rest is strawberry blonde.

Then my antivirus software updated without warning when I booted up my computer. I couldn't find my password vault afterwards. I chatted with tech support was told that the vault had been destroyed on update and just use the online one. I never created that for obvious reasons, a password vault online can be hacked.  So so sad, too bad it's been destroyed and I can't get it back.

Unloading the dishwasher I dropped a small glass and it broke of course, in the dishwasher. Ever clean up glass inside a dishwasher? I'm lucky I didn't get hurt

Last night my two cats decided it was playtime and started charging around the house at 3:30 a.m. I got up, got one of our glass bowls and threw a few Wheat Thins in it. When I was done I turned to put it on the counter, proceeded to drop it and it smashed into a million pieces! The idiot cats decided "Hey look! Sparklies! Lets run through them! Mom why are you sweeping them up? Hey, now they're more fun to run through! 1, 2 ,3, GO" I couldn't lock them in the bedroom because they would have woken my husband up. I ended up not going back to sleep until almost five and they did the . same chase at 7:00 and woke me up. And it's only 12:30 on the east coast. I'm afraid to touch anything today but my youngest is STILL working on an essay for college that was due yesterday. He's not even close to finishing it. I offered my assistance but he turned me down.

And through all this I still didn't even want a cigarette! Booze maybe, but I don't drink so I just have to deal with it. I'm hiding under the bed today I swear!

I had smoked 35 years. I consider myself 'certifiably crazy' (jokingly) and anyone that knows me can attest to that : ) I am a certified Reiki practioner, I love heavy metal music even though I'm over 50; animals of all kinds and will rescue and rehab (if possible) any beastie I come across; I love raising ducks; riding horses; embroidery, and of course sarcasm. I am looking forward to the rest of my life as a non-smoker.
