Day 4

Yeah, this is a nightmare. I was in so much pain from detoxing I didn't even realize until last night I'd forgotten to put my nicotine patch on. I see everyone on here talking about 'cut down on caffeine' but I swear to god, caffeine is the only thing that gets me out of bed. Midol and ibuprofen are disappearing like mad in this house, and to those who don't know, midol may be a menstrual pain thing, but it will kill off just about any pain you feel. It's like a step below prescription useful. It also is acetaminophen, a diuretic and a buttload of caffeine. Right now, it's the only thing making me feel alive at all.

I actually wanted to vape yesterday for the first time since day 1. It wasn't like overpowering, but it was pretty distracting. I'm pretty sure I can get through it if that's the worst of the cravings. The only part that's really bad is waiting for the toxins to stop making me feel like death. I've seen that they can last anywhere from 4 days to 2 months. I'm really hoping mine is on the shorter side, but with 27 years of smoking and vaping, probably not.
