Let's Get Moving Part 3

Jump to solution

'The original idea was to "get moving" at least 4 times a week, staying accountable to each other.  Post your accomplishments in the comments. This is the original blog link if you would like to clarify the guidelines

Let's Get Moving Challenge - EX Community.   Any activity counts, as long as you get off your butt and get your heart pumping.  Who knows, maybe we'll lose a little weight or a couple of inches in the meantime.  I hope placing it in discussions this time will work better than a blog post where there were so many entries and becomes harder to locate.  Let's see if we can keep it on the board often and easy to find.

I believe we got sidetracked when I suggested doing other challenges and those challenges were not conducive to everyone. My fault. Lesson learned.  So I am hoping we can get back to doing what "you" do instead of a specific routine.  Got it?.   In the previous post, there were a lot of comments to go through to come up with this list of who participated.  Hopefully, it will catch on again.  Of course, sometimes we got off topic which can happen.  This post really kept me motivated and we had a lot of fun while learning a lot from each other with over 2519 comments on the first blog and 1072 Let's Get Moving 2018 - EX Community  on second blog comments. So let's Get Moving Part 3!

I did the 30 min yoga and walked on the treadmill for 10 minutes.  I was able to hula hoop for a complete 5 mins Yay.  Total 6.2K steps so far.  Keep it moving!

Cut down some of the garden, raked, and that was it.  Too bloody hot and humid.

Dumb Bell workout done. Did one mile walk with Leslie Sansone. So far ankle/foot doing ok. I need to hook up my wii so I can do some bicycling and hula hooping without buying the equipment and might as well add in some yoga with it too. Hello life!

P90x done today already. It's always good to have that out of the way early, but its is invigorating and gets me going

Have super early start due to very busy day ahead. Takin my Mother in law in for Doctor appointments later this morning and will take Nico for a long walk when I get back.

Good evening MOVERS.  I hope everyone had a good day.  I started my day with 100 crunches as my coffee brewed.  Time flies when you are having fun.  On to 30-min yoga.  I took my sister out today.  Due to a handicap, she does not get out often so I was patient and allowed her to shop the Walmart for 2HOURS!!!! while I window shopped in an adjoining strip mall.   Whew.  It was good. I had only walked 6.2K by evening so after dinner, I completed my goal of 10K for today. I hope you all got your MOVE on. I am going to relax ina lavender bath.
