The Power of Addiction

We have about 15 inches of snow on the ground with temperatures in the 20's, and 25-50 mph winds.  Snow is expected to continue to accumulate today and tonight until we have about 27 inches.   I cannot IMAGINE going out in this to smoke and am so glad I don't do that anymore. . I can actually remember getting bundled up in storms like this when I smoked - or sticking my head out a window and having snow blow in my face and into my home..    How INSANE was that?  Addiction is a terrible thing!  I didn't want the smoke in my house, but I wanted it in my lungs??????

If you have quit - stay that way.

If you are on the road to recovery, stay committed.  One day at a time.  A lady warm and cozy inside her house wants you to know it's worth all of the disomfort and challenges it takes to be FREE!

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
