There's so much happening around the world my heart breaks for Australia and the half billion animals that have lost their lives so far with at least 17 people that have died with most likely more than that there getting a little rain today BUT not nearly enough and then there's the terrifying debacle that's happening between the U.S. and Iran which could cause another unnecessary war grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! BUT we have no control over either of these situations there's so much that we have no control over BUT thankfully when it comes to quitting smoking we do have complete control over whether we smoke or NOT so vigilance is key to remaining Smokefree the world can fall down around us and we can still remain Smokefree because Life is going to happen whether we smoke or NOT let's continue to deal with life on life's terms without the crutch of cigarettes......
I've had some horrid rough patches in my early weeks of quitting smoking and there's been lots of ups and downs over the years since quitting I've been to a few funerals of people I've cared about and a couple of them were smokers and passed away from cancer one friend who died about 4 years ago was wheeled out of the hospital about an hour before he passed to have a smoke BUT like the nurse said it wasn't going to make any difference at that point! Let's stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance N.M.W. let's nurture and protect the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE, I still smile at each and every Day WON and today I'm CELEBRATING -2,001 glorious DOF ......
