Give and get support around quitting
hello i am medeia mcallister,i am new .been smoking since i was ten and now i am 40....
i want to quite so bad just dont know how
I am looking at 30 years being a smoker myself, and I know how you feel. I am starting by paying attention to why I am actually reaching for the pack and if it's not a true craving, but rather because I am bored or that is what I usually do, I stop myself. This has resulted in an instant reduction in the number of cigarettes I smoke in a day ~ I went from 15 to 10 just by being aware of what I am doing! Now I am ready to start tracking them along with my cravings, and cutting them down even more. I figure that if I can cut out just one cigarette a week, by the time my quit date rolls around, it won't be as hard to give them up!
Explore this and other sites, talk to others who have successfully quit, and come up with a plan that works for you! Best of luck!
Oh yeah ~ I have tentatively set my quit date for June 22!
