Breathing deep always works for me. Staying busy helps the urge to go away.
I change seats or move outside or find something to do. Put my favorite music on and dance!

Deep breathing for me too ...... air is always available and it is free !
If I am really tense and stressed a walk always helps

Grab the dog and go for a vigorous walk. Or fill a bucket up with all the ice in my ice maker, add water, and do the ice bucket challenge for smoking! (I hope it doesn't come to that.)
I know this isn't the best for diet but when I have a really tough day I buy a McDonalds chocalate chip frappe:) I love them and I guess I look at it as a treat for not smoking:)) I always want to smoke after a long day at a dog show which I did for two days this weekend. Its an hour drive home and I was tempted but instead stopped at McDonalds. I run my dog in agility so I need all the breath I can have!
I will simply say, NOPE NOPE AND NOPE and then find something else to do!

I am going to get up and walk. Walking is the only thing that takes eases the craving.
I am going to say I don't do that anymore.
