New And Ready

I am 44, been smoking for 27 years and ready to quit. I will use every avenue I can. I am hoping to make some new friends like me and that we can help each other. I am also a little afraid. It has been the center of my life for soooo long. It seems every decision I made has revolved around smoking, consciously and unconsciously. Nice to see all the blogs. I have already learned so many things to try.

Before I gave up smoking, I was pretty apprehensive as I felt like I was loosing my buddy, my pal. Since qiving up the habit, I have had good days, and bad....I never caved no matter how bad it got. I am not here to say that it is easy....relapses are common, and it is what you do with any type of relapse that will be the true test. I wish you the best of luck Lisa....and always remember that all of us on this site are here for you thru the good times and the bad.
