Living with A Smoker

My husband is a smoker, and we have "smoking room" in the house. Last time I tried to quit, I avoided the smoking room. That didn't work. Instead of just giving up smoking, I was giving up everything in the room (including our computer) and spending time with my husband. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone else living with a smoker and have advice?

I don't have any great advice, but I totally know what you mean. The last time I quit, I stayed out of our "smoking room". Everytime my husband would come out, the smell of smoke on him was so overwelming. I would just sniff his shirt and wish that I could have a smoke, too. Cindy's idea about the febreeze is a pretty good one!

I know exactly how you feel Mrs. U. I also have the husband that will not quit smoking around me. It just doesn't seem to be his problem. I hope that things work out for you. i wish you all the best.
