Give and get support around quitting
Hey ppl, im new to this page . I recently stopped vaping 5 days ago im 5 days nic free , but after i had quit cold turkey... one day later i woke up in the middle of the night feeling i couldnt breathe im guessing anxiety , and my vision looks weird and still does , has anyone felt this before? Its making me feel like something is really wrong with me
Some folks do complain of blurry vision when they quit and its been said it is a common complaint. Eyes drops may help.? Your eyes are also making adjustments as they are not being fed nicotine anymore or smoke damage.
Congrats for quitting and 5 days behind you already! There a great book, short fast read, EASYWAY TO QUIT SMOKING. By Alan Carr. I highly recommend it. that and read through the many blogs on this site. Go to upper right corner on page and hit magnifying glass and ask anything that comes to mind and sure enough we will have answers for you. Meanwhile stay near the site and Welcome to Ex!
Thank you i really appreciate the info , having this weird vision symptom actually scared me to the point im not even craving , its just giving me anxiety hoping that my vision returns to normal
Your welcome, but just to be on the safe side, if your vision does not clear up soon it would not be a bad idea to check with your eye Doc just to be on safe side.
Welcome and CONGRATS 5 DAYS NICOTINE FREE - please check YOUR eye sight with YOUR EYE DOCTOR - gentle hug❤
Thank you! I did and they said everything checked out fine , the only thing else i think it can be is from nicotine withdrawal, 5 days and counting
Way to go! Former vaper here too
My brain went all sorts of goofy when I quit nicotine and the smoking habit. I put both because it's two addictions you are breaking - the drug and the habit.
If it continues, talk to your doctor. Congrats on your 5 days!

Day 211
This is from a blog written by YoungAtHeart and I found it particularly helpful, https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/groups/best-of-ex/blog/2018/01/04/early-withdrawal-symptoms
Hopefully, she will see this and give you her usual welcome. This is an addiction and quitting is not an event, it is a journey, one day at a time.
Welcome to EX,
Ellen
Thank you i appreciate it
