I have been smoking for the past 13 years, but like half a pack a day - still bad. I've stopped before then started back. Don't ever waste your time or money with nicotine substitutes, they DO NOT WORK. I mean, think about it, what's the difference between pulling it in your lungs or getting it through your skin? No difference. I highly suggest talking to your doctor and getting into a strong support group, it can really happen.
My skin never looked healthier, my breath never smelled fresher, my teeth - whiter, hair - shinier. I don't look or feel exhausted anymore. Instead, I'm bright eyed with all this energy. I am happy.
I am no longer a smoker. I had my last cigarette June 14th, 2008.
