Give and get support around quitting
I just quit yesterday, I am using the patches. I quit once before using the patches for about 3 weeks, but I ate everything in sight. and when I couldn't fit into any of my clothes I started back. Well im trying this again, My first day was good, but today is awful, I want to smoke soooo bad, but Im trying to stay strong.
Smoking less than I have been? I am actually am down to one cigarette a day. But on my actual day of quitting for good there will be no cigarettes any longer. i will not be chained to that smoking chain I had all these years. I am taking Wellbutrin to help me relax and not think of smoking. It has worked helping me calm my nerves. I'm on my way of freedom!

Hi,
My name is LIsa and I'm planning to quit June 6 or earlier. I'm tapering down and am down to 5 cigarettes a day using the nicotine lozengs.
I have been at least a pack a day smoker (and more) for more than 40 years and have tried to quit many times, but this time, it's like a light of will power went off in my brain and I'm finding it easier to cut down. Now if I can just quit as planned.
It's been a while since this thread has been active. How are people doing with their quits? Check in here or on the https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/docs/DOC-1091-take-the-daily-pledge?sr=search&searchId=f46bd8b9-e....
