Give and get support around quitting
Mind (brain) Fog.
Apologize in advance for double posting but could not figure out how to "move" my question.
OK, so I am just wrapping up my 12th DOF.
Physical withdrawal gone, feeling good. Cravings, with the exception of several have been very manageable.
And I know.... "Don't let your gaurd down .... once you do, it will bite you in the @ss."
I still have this almost constant head fog. I've been taking Wellbutrin. Wondering if there's a connection?
Maybe too high a dose?
As an aside, I smoked for abt 35 years. Maybe it's related to years you smoked?
As Roger Waters penned "... gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise"
You might find this helpful, too: /blogs/Youngatheart.7.4.12-blog/2018/01/04/early-withdrawal-symptoms. I experienced a spell of brain fog.....your body is adjusting to life without nicotine. It will pass - just give it some time!

P.S. You can't move your blog - but you can delete the duplicate. In the bottom left you will see "Actions." Under that is "delete."
Thanks!
I had a doc tell me once that smokers have forgotten how to breathe and when they quit smoking, they need to learn how to breathe. He said to take a deep breath, hold it in and then let it out very slowly, the same as you would if you were smoking. I was surprised that it helped. Now, I don't even think about it.

Just knowing I will be getting up with a clear chest no more coughing in the morning makes me want to get thru today’s triggers come on summer
OK,Seems like the fog has lifted.
Is this temporary?
Anyone who's been thru the fog..... after getting past it, did it return at a later point?
Thanks folks!
For me anyway, the brain fog was about the first month off and on...then it dissipated.
Congrats on 12 days...thats great!
Congratulations on 12 precious days WON, the brain fog for me would come and go off and on for around a month if I'm remembering correctly but it'll go before too long, keep stacking your precious Days of Freedom.
Mine was similar to Missy and Marilyn. Nearly constant for almost 3 weeks. Then dissipated to mostly gone by the end of my 4th week. I could force myself to concentrate when I had to, but it was hard and made me very tired. I didn't do much of anything after work that first month because I was so tired.
