I am a member of the 9th MA Light Artillery Re-enacting unit. We are based out of Western Massachusetts. I think quitting during the "off" season was a good idea. I usually smoke like a chimeny at events. It will be good to have some time as a non-smoker before we start up again. I know the members of group will be happy. There are only 3 of us that smoke in the whole group! At least now I won't have to hide from spectators, LOL!! Those of you not familiar with re-enacting...We portray life during the Civil War at Living Histories and battle re-enactments. During that time period it was considered vulgar for women to smoke in public. Women DID smoke during this time but at private smoking parties, women only. So during these events us female smokers have to hide from the public if we want to light up. But now I WON'T have too!!!! If there are other re-enactors out there I'd love to hear from you!!!
