(But You Can Say No To Smoking)
Watching the sun, watching it come
Watching it come up over the rooftops.
Cloudy and warm, maybe a storm,
You can never quite tell from the morning.
And it's going to be a day,
There is really no way to say no to the morning.
Yes, it's going to be a day, there is really nothing left to say,
But, come on morning
Waiting for mail, maybe a tale from an old friend, or, even a lover.
Sometimes there's none, but we have fun
Thinking of all who might have written.
And it's going to be a day There is really no way to say no
To the morning
Yes, it's going to be a day, there is really nothing left to say,
But, come on morning
And maybe there are seasons
And maybe they change
And maybe true love is not so strange.
The sounds of the day, now, they hurry away
Now, they are gone until tomorrow.
One day will break, and, you will wake
And you will rake your hands across your eyes and, realize
That it's going to be a day, there is really no way to say no
To the morning.
Yes, it's going to be a day, there is really nothing left to say but
Come on morning.
And maybe there are seasons, and, maybe they change
And maybe true love is not so strange.
Thanks Dale.....our Daddy God is the best artist in the WHOLE WORLD.....no one comes close! Amen
Beautiful, Dale.
This is beautiful Dale. I had not heard of this song before, thank you for sharing it!
Is it written by Dan? I have not heard much of his music as of late, but always loved it!
Yes. Written by Dan
Thank you Dale absolutely beautiful, beautiful pics and a beautiful song. .....
I went to find the lyrics and went to a number of lyrics sites and they all had the same mistakes.
It made me think they copy and paste from each other's sites to build their database
Anyway I told them if a word doesn't fit in the thought, it's probably wrong.
They said it was copyrighted and they couldn't change it.
Then this morning I get an email and they allowed me to make the changes.
