We’ll let me put your mind at ease that you are not going to feel like this forever.  Each day will get you closer to being free of wanting cigarettes.  Hang in there it does get better I promise. In time you won’t wake up wanting a cigarette and it will feel so good.  I thought I could never quit again I felt hopeless but my friends would not give up on me they told me to hang in there it would get better and they were right.  You just have to get through this doing anything you can to stay smoke free.  Blog anytime to vent it helps that is what this place is for. Hot baths help relax you or a shower. You can do this never give up.  Sorry  you had a bad day but this will get better  in time.

Hang in there, it will get better.  I had a hard time for the first 2 weeks and now I hardly think about it.  I think we will always have those weird cravings due to the habit of smoking.  Keep on posting and we will keep on encouraging you.  Keep up the good work.

Every one is different, but no, this does not last forever.  It just gets better and better. Hang in there.  It is so worth it.  Keep your eye on the prize.

This discomfort is an investment in the rest of your HEALTHY life.....try to keep your eye on the end result.   Is 2-3 weeks of discomfort  worth what you will gain in the end - the clean smelling hair and clothes, the clean, deep breaths, the return of your taste and smell, your health, the extra money in your pocket? Of COURSE it is!

Remember to distract yourself through any craves.  The argument in your head CANNOT be:  I want a cigarette.  No.  But - I WANT a cigarette.  Well, you can't smoke one!  But..."  It needs to be:  "I want a cigarette.  Well, since I don't do that anymore, what shall I do instead for the three minutes this craving will last?"  Then DO it!  Say the alphabet backwards, name the state capitals, do jumping jacks, go for a brisk walk, sip water, take slow, deep breaths...

You CAN do this!
