well tomorrow is 2 weeks since i have had a smoke. I'm doing okay but you know reading some of the other post and reading about that its been a while since you smoked and then it hits you and all you want is a smoke well thats happeing to me just like yesterday hadn't thought of a cig for i don't know when and then it hit me and i could not get it out of my mind. that was hard to get get away of the feeling. But now its gone and today is a new day i'm hoping the next time that happens it won't be a strong. thanks for listening

Hey Terry,You're doing great! You just have to remember that smoking isn't just a nicotene addiction. We spent a long time programming ourselves to rely on smoking for many reasons. It's a matter of getting through re - programming our brains. Time and determination takes care of that. Keep enjoying what it feels like to be a non smoker. As time goes on, The urges become less "important" Which make them feel less "potent"

They do hit you outta nowhere thats why I kinda baby my quit I'm strong but not immune.Great job fighting it off!

2 weeks here also. Don't really think about cigs at all, but I know my body wants one all the time. Obviously you have to be distracted, reduce triggers, remember that smoking never solved one problem you ever had. But it did cause some. Hang in.
