well, I'm on my second day as a non-smoker. woo-hoo! What's even better is that I don't have out of control cravings. The zyban is working very well for me and I only need one or two lozenges a day. It helps that I'm not around people who smoke. I've been strong when going to the store and have not had the thought to buy cigarettes. I"m so happy right now! The only issue I'm having is that I'm not getting much sleep. Not that I want them or anything, but has anyone quit smoking and didn't have strong cravings? I guess I"m nervous this is the calm before the storm because I do not have bad cravings.

Nicole - this is going to be fine - you have a great attitude!

You'll have strong cravings once in a while - but you already know that you can ride them out.  You know they won't last forever.

I am 81 days quit.  I smoked for 35 years ( and then some) - I KNOW I'm done smoking...and I have just hung on to that quitter's attitude.  I am choosing on a daily basis to remain smoke free.  I'm worth it!

YOU ARE SO WORTH THIS!

I had some insomnia as well - but this is all temporary - non smoking is FOR LIFE!

Keep on keepin on - we can do this thing together!

actually nicotine withdrawel panges aren't very strong at all.. it feel like being hungry if i had to describe it. Most of it is habit and ritual. Seems to me that you have a clear view of what you are doing making the urge to smoke alot less. Maybe it's not your first time quiting?

When I first started taking wellbutrin, the first week I felt like I could just stop smoking, cigarettes weren't doing a thing for me, I read that it blocks the nicontine receptors, but I"m not so sure. I am just chiming into say that the first few weeks you are taking it, it works best as far as the smoking thing goes. Stay quit!  Keep it up. Take advantage of this calm.
