Description

I quit smoking after numerous attempts on Jan 1, 1999.  For the next 14 years, I didn't even think about smoking.  I took up running, cycling, hiking - basically anything that kept me moving forward.

During those years, I went through multiple stressful situations without even considering smoking.  Then, out with friends one night, someone lit up and I did too.  We smoked that night, but the next day I didn't even think about it again.

A few weeks later, I bought a pack and started smoking again.  !!!!!!!!!!

For the past year now, I've become a full-time closet smoker.  I feel guilty about it, but since I have nobody to answer to, it is just too easy to continue down the same path - always tomorrow, tomorrow, next week, after this pack.

I travel for work, usually changing location every three months, so I don't see familty or friends on a day-to-day basis.  Needless to say, my outdoor activities have slowed down and performance is pathetic.  It is ridiculous to smoke a cigarette immediately before and after a bike ride!

Stupid me!
