Antonia, it's ok to be scared. I had NO confidence when I made the decision to quit - and, yes, I was scared. But I gathered up everything in my home/care etc. related to smoking and threw it all out!!! As each day goes by I feel stronger and more confident - You CAN do this!!!

Antonia, let me first tell you that Chantix is not going to do all the work. Some how the first time I took it I thought it was some miracle drug, it isn't, it is just like any other help aid.

This time I used it again but was determined to quit, the other times wasn't so sure of myself. So have yourself well planted when making the leap. It is an addiction, but if you have made a decision that's great because you have Plenty of support here.

Drink lots of water...that helped me, and I have heard it from others as well. Good luck to you, You will be in my prayers!

3 days to go ~ you can do it!!! I found the Chantix to be extremely helpful, and remember, when you get a craving it will only last for 5 minutes. Find something else to occupy your mind for those 5 minutes and you'll find it's not so bad, after all.
