success and failure

Well, I tried to quit smoking the day before yesterday. I was successful most of the day but was having very strange symptoms, even became suicidal.  I found out it was the medication I was on, so I stopped it.  I'm part of the American Cancer Society Quit program and we talked about it.  I'm looking for advice as to when to set a new quit date.  I'm smoking way less than before I quit, but still looking to quit for good.  My self confidence has flown out the window.  Any ideas?

I get really depressed my first couple of days. That is when i fail myself. I started back up too. I am looking for ways to help keep my mind off my lost feeling. Find those ways first. Mine is soda, jerky, lipstick, and "hanging with friends". That is a game. Goodluck in your quit. Feel proud of yourself for every minute you dont smoke. Btw, if you want to play the game look me up on facebook. Penny Quick. I am always looking for new friends to play with. I really suck at the game so you will win. Lol

i believe it is the fear that you can't do it.

your brain expects it's nicotine fix and without it it begins to panic.

have you studied about nicotine addiction.

people who don't know what they're up against give in too easily
