JR, we are in the same boat. I was going to quit tomorrow at the best, next Wednesday at the worst. I am determined not to smoke on Christmas. WE can do it. I have "quit" 4 times this last year. I previously quit for over a year twice. I know the demon. But I am still weak and still smoke. Be my hero, and keep trying. I will keep trying too, until we both get it right. I hate viewing my beautiful Christmas decorations through a haze of smoke, and with it being so cold, the only ventilation is through my fireplace. I've looked at this way, even if I can be smoke free for one day, that's one additional day I'm adding to my life.

Be strong, flexible, and safe.

You are only a prisoner, if you refuse to believe in yourself.
You will stay chained to this addiction for the rest of your life, until you start believing that you are stronger than it. It will lock you away and throw away the key if you don't learn how to get back the control!!!
That is what the Ex.program is here for. It teaches you how to live your life without smoking. Small steps at first, and then before you know it... YOU are telling every one else how YOU quit smoking!!!
Don't ever believe for one second that you can't kick this addiction in the ass J.R.!
I know that we are all stronger, and with the right support, and knowledge about our addiction, you will be free from what you see as YOUR PRISON!!!!
I believe in you!
