I had some blood work last week and my red cell count is high. My body is starved for oxygen. Will this finally be my wake up call? I've tried and failed so many times. Now I'm looking at possible heart disease or COPD. Have to go back to the hemotologist  next week for more tests, more blood work. My husband is frantic. He can be an alarmist but blood will tell as they say.

I think you may want to change your name to something more positive..

maybe wonder one

you'll wonder why you just didn't do it before.

"Weeniehead" is a term of endearment created by my husband-long story. so I don't see it as negative. I see how it could be construed that way though.

Welcome back! Great to see you! I'm so sorry about your medical issues - but, I do hope that helps you to realize that it is time. I decided that I wanted to make the decsion myself - BEFORE someone told me I HAD to quit. So - let's do this!! Refresh at Quitsmokingonline.com as Nancy said.

I had an endearing term for my son when he was in 2nd grade.  It was "you little turkey butt".  Then he called his teacher that, cause he really liked her....I was called to parent /teacher conference.  I know this has nothing to do with quitting smoking, but laughter can be good, and I like your name,.....

I'm so glad you came back.  Yes, sounds like a lot of good reasons to quit.  Read, read and then reas some more.  Come here everyday.  Write whenever you want but always when you need to.

I'm in CT too.
