well the judge court ordered my sister to 130 days at a new program for drug rehab in detroit. I guess shes been thinking about shooting up for about 2 weeks. me and mom are happy shes going to a rehab. I really hope she can do this
I'll be praying for her! I pray the Lord wraps her in his arms and rocks her as she deals with the withdrawals. I pray she succeeds! I pray the Lord comforts her and you while she's away. In Jesus name I pray.
I'm sending up good thoughts and prayers for your sister to put everything she has into the rehab to work so she'll stay clean when she comes out and I'm praying for peace of mind for you and the rest of your family during this time....
jconfusion It's a journey, as you know, she is always going to think about shooting up, that's the nature of addiction, sadly. It will be really good for her to be with others who are going through the same thing and 130 days is a pretty significant period of time. I am glad that the judge recognized that she needs rehabilitation and not prison. When does she leave and do you know anything about this place? Who did she tell that she has been thinking about shooting up for two weeks? Has something stressed her out more than usual? I really hope and pray that they can help her and that she WANTS that help and will accept it.
Oh honey, you cannot do this for her. Remember the three C's...you didn't Cause this, you can't Control it, and you can't Cure it. Those three C's got me through some really rough times.
