I had been kicking the idea around about running a half marathon on Oct 7th but have decided and signed up for a 5 K in Nov instead. Goals are a big part of keeping me focused and living a healthy smoke free lifestyle. My last 12 weeks smoke free was during a fitness challenge. after it ended we had a party a few days later and I let myself slip.

Like I already stated, Im going to make this one stick!!!!

NOPE !!!

Hey there, signing up for a 5k is great - good goal to work towards, i did that too - during my last quit - was very fun to do.  Starting over like you - on day 10 now, exercise really helps, so does green tea, popcorn and dark chocolate - have a great one.  Lisa

Im all over the green tea, its my coffee replacement. Not big on popcorn or sweets but mixed nuts have been my friend.

Congrats on day 10, we can do this Lisa !!

It's great to have physical goals and challenges, but every ordinary day as an EX smoker is an incredible reward for all of your efforts.  Enjoy the challenge of the racing but keep guard of your goal for a "forever:" quit after the race is over.
