My name is Sherry, I have smoked since i was around 16 yrs old. i am now 53. I am NOT proud of my habit. i am usually imbarrassed to smoke in public although i cannot resist the urge. My husband also smokes. We go thru about 2 cartoons of cigarettes a week! Spending way too much money. My entire family smoked at one time and they have all quit. Now it is my turn. Unfortunately my dad smoked until the day he had a stroke and passed a few weeks later. He did quit for 5 years and i feel if he had not started back, he would be here today. I avoid going and doing things because i smoke. I am a prisoner of smoking. There are so many places where you can't smoke now. You almost just have to stay at home if you want to smoke. I am ready to get out and enjoy life. I also have a beautiful grandson that i want to be here for. He is my joy! So, wish me luck. My quit date is October 26th.
