I have been reading all the comments and I appreciate all the advice and support. I am currently trying to read Allan Carrs book as suggested but it is slow going as it hurts my eyes to read too much at a time, so I am reading afew pages as I can. I set a new Quit date of July 1st. Realized I was moving to fast and couldnt expect to just quit without sipport or reading and researching everything I couldand making a plan. So That is what I am doing, reading and getting everything in motion to quit on July 1st.

Keep reading.  Keep researching.  Keep tracking your cigs and triggers.  That is what did it for me.  Once I realized why I was smoking I started trying to push myself to go longer and longer between the trigger and actually smoking.  You can do it.  Keep it up.

I noticed on the 'vapors corner' group that you have purchased an Ecig as part of your plan! Be very cautious about your use of nicotine and have a plan to rid yourself of all aspects of smoking...we will help with nicotine withdrawal, habitual behavior and psychological dependence! Allen Carr is somewhat painful to read but please stay with it! I wish you the best on your journey toward freedom from addiction!

You're doing a great job of preparation.  Just remember learning never stops.  You'll find your self continuing to educate your self and others as you travel through your quit journey.

Get the audiobook. 😛  I listened to while I worked because I didn't have time to read it.
